An escape room is an interactive adventure game where participants are “locked” in a themed room and must solve puzzles, find clues, and complete challenges to escape within a set time limit.

No, you’re never truly locked in. Safety is our top priority! All our escape room doors have emergency release buttons and participants are free to come and go as they please.

Our escape rooms are designed for teams of 3 to 8 players. However we can accommodate larger groups by request. We also are open to groups of 2 but please bare in mind there is a lot to do in the room and due to the length of the game and staffing costs we will still have to charge the rate of a 3 person game.

Yes, we have age guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants:

1. Minors: All rooms must have at least one responsible adult (age 18 or older) if there are minors present. Safety is our priority!

2. Children Under 10: While we welcome families, we generally recommend our current room for children over the age of 10, however younger participants are welcome.

No specific skills are required—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate! Our puzzles vary in difficulty, so everyone can contribute.

Our rooms are designed to be exciting, not terrifying, however our current room is immersive and has a fantasy theme which has some elements that could be considered scary. We also have one area of darkness which we can make brighter if this is an issue for participants.

Don’t worry! It’s all part of the fun. Whether you escape or not, you’ll have an unforgettable experience. Our experienced Game Masters are always on hand to help out to make sure you get the most out of your game.

We recommend leaving bags and valuables in our secure storage area. Your personal items will be safe during the game. We discourage taking phones and devices into the game as they detract from the immersiveness of the experience.

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing food or drinks into the room.

Absolutely! If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

 Yes, you can add an extra player to your booking if space is available. We can take payment at the venue, please note that we cannot lower the price of the initial booking if guests can no longer make it.

We recommend arriving on time to fully enjoy the experience. If you’re significantly late, your game time may be shortened to avoid inconveniencing other players.

Our rooms vary in size, but none are extremely confined. If you have concerns, please let our staff know, and we'll do our best to accomodate you.

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. You may need to move around and explore during the game.

Our venue itself is wheelchair friendly.
Due to the nature of our rooms there are some puzzles and areas that may be inaccessible to wheelchair users. Please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to acccomodate your needs.

There is very limited parking on the market square outside as it is undergoing works. We recommend one of the nearby paid car parks such as Waitrose or riverside, which are a few minutes walk from us.

SPECIAL FOR VERY YOUNG ADVENTURERS: If you want to bring very young players we offer a special unique quest just for them! Please let us know ahead and we can set them their own mission to find the hidden magic wands “Glow Sticks” that we will hide in advance all around the escape room to keep them entertained whilst you focus on the puzzles!
